FIND CHINA introduces Changchun

Changchun is the capital and largest city of Jilin province, located at the northeast of the People's Republic of China. It is a sub-provincial city.  Changchun is of monsoon climate, locating in the transitional belt from wet area to sub-dry area. The four seasons varies a lot and the climate is rather pleasant.

The whole city has a gardening green area of 5,732.3 hectares, a public green area of 1,667.2 hectares, and a constructed forest area of 6,575.4 hectares. The forest area covers 39% of the whole city, so it is also called as a " Forest City " and as a result of the fine weather is also known as the spring city.

Changchun is one of the last cities with the classic tramway service in China; Chanchung is also the first Chinese city to open the new tramway system (light railway).

Changchun Cuisine includes a series of local dishes prepared with wild, green and natural materials and special cooking techniques. Local chefs of Changchun are good at using the kitchen knife. The dishes they prepare are beautiful in colours and shapes, with strong flavours and pleasant aromas..
