FIND CHINA introduces Chuzhou

Chuzhou City is in eastern Anhui province, People's Republic of China.

It borders the provincial capital of Hefei to the southwest, Huainan to the west, Bengbu to the northwest, Chaohu to the south, and neighboring Jiangsu Province to the east.

It has the Mt. Langya Nature Reserve and in the west Mt. Huangpu, a state-level nature reserve and home to many rare species of palnts and animals.

Fengyang under Chuzhou is one of the four provincial-level ancient cultural cities in Anhui, and is the hometown of Zhu Yuanzhang, the founding emperor of the Ming Dynasty

Chuzhou city belongs to humid subtropical monsoon climate with an annual precipitation of 100 cm. Tourists can feel hot in summer and warm in winter. The annual temperature is about 18C. In winter, the temperature is between 6C and 8C and in summer, it’s between 27C and 38C. Due to the terrain, the climate is very hot in summer. Therefore, tourists should travel to Chongqing in spring and winter to avoid the heat.

Chongqing is famous for “spicy food”. You will never forget the good taste if you have chances to try, such as Gongbao Chicken, Yuxiang Meat, Chenpi Beef, Boiled Beef, Smoked Ribs, Bangbang Chicken, Sweet Pork, Crispy-skin Fish, Dry-braised Shark’s Fin, Twice-cooked Pork, Hot-crisp Hot pot also being a local favourite.

Beijing-Shanghai and Huainan Railways pass through its area; expressways and advanced highways extend in all directions and inland waterways link up with the Yangzi and Huai Rivers.
