FIND CHINA introduces Cixi

Cixi is a city within the sub-provincial city of Ningbo located in China's Zhejiang province. Cixi City is located at the coastal area of eastern Zhejiang Province and on the south bank of Hangzhou Bay. It was the site of the 1862 Battle of Cixi between Qing imperial forces and Taiping rebels.

Cixi City is proud of its stunning mountains and rivers. There are major historical and cultural sites under state and province protection as well as provincial scenic spots.

Now there are a number of attractive scenic spots in Cixi City such as Wulei Mountain scenic spot, Minghe Duhu Lake and Baiyanghu Lake scenic spots, Hangzhou Bay Seashore Amusement Park, Shanglinhu Hehuaxin Yue Celadon Kiln Site and Red Bayberry Garden.

Ningbo Lishe airport and Beilun harbour are on the southeast with a distance of 60 km and 70 km respectively. Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang Province is 145 km away on the west while Shanghai is just on the other side of the sea.
