FIND CHINA introduces Daxing'anling

The prefecture Daxing’anling, also known as Greater Khingan prefecture, is located in the north most part of China in the northwest of Heilongjiang district.

The area is located in the Greater Hinggan Range, a volcanic mountain range that is stretching out also over Inner Mongolia.

The range is densely forested and noted for its flora. The slopes are a relatively rich grazing area.

The climate is a cold-temperate monsoon type. Winter is long, cold and dry, while summer is short, warm, and rainy.

Tourism festivals are common in Daxing'anling visitors may enjoy visits to the forests and appreciate the northern lights. Mohe is the best place in the country to see the lights.

Trains are the best way to come to Daxing’anling in order to enjoy the wonderfull mountain scenery.
