FIND CHINA introduces Dongying

 Dongying is a prefecture-level city in Shandong province, People's Republic of China. Located around the mouth of the Yellow River. Dongyings city's 350-km coastline borders the Laizhou Bay and the Bohai Bay to the east and north respectively.

Dongying City’s is located in the centre of the area encircled by the Shandong Peninsula and Liaodong Peninsula. To its southeast is the opening city of Yantai and Qingdao, to its north is Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan Economic Zone; to its northeast, Donying City looks Dalian City across the Bohai Sea.

Travelling to Donying Dongying-Beijing: 50 minutes by air, 5.5 hours’ drive by highway, 4 hours’ drive by expressway, Dongying-Jinan (the capital of Shandong Province) International Airport: 1.5 hours’ drive, Dongying-Qingdao International Airport: 2.5 hours’ drive, there are direct trains from Dongying to Nanjing (the capital of Jiangsu Province), Zibo and Jinan, which joins to the national railway network. Dongying harbour is state-level class-one open port.

 Dongying, belonging to the grassland climate of the North Temperate Zone, make a clear distinction between the four seasons. The temperature is moderate, in hot the same period of rain. The illumination is sufficient. 12.2 degrees Centigrade of average annual temperature, average annual 211 days of frost-free period, 3 times of harvest in 2 years. Light energy resources are abundant, average annual sunshine time is 2692.5 hours per year. For many years the average rainfall is 264.4 mm, among July – September, the rainfall accounts for the 60% of the whole year.
