Jinjiang District is situated in southeast urban area of Chengdu. In the northwest, it joints Qingyang District. In the west, it is adjacent to Wuhou District at the other side of Jinjiang River and Fuhe River. In the east, it neighbours Chenghua District. In the southeast, it borders on Longquanyi District. Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport is the largest air traffic hub and passenger and goods distributing centre in southwest China.
